Doctrinal Integrity

Research among unchurched individuals revealed a surprising desire to know and understand doctrine.  Knowledge, however, is not enough.  It is vital that the local church uncompromisingly stand for truth.  Guests, as well as regular congregants, can be assured of Elmira Pentecostal Assembly's doctrinal integrity.

Passion

The leaders of Elmira Pentecostal Assembly are passionate about worship, preaching, teaching and serving.  The Sunday sermons connect to the extent that individuals feel the message has been tailor-made just for them.  This same level of sensitivity and excellence is consistently demonstrated by our worship teams, Sunday School teachers, children and youth workers.  It is important to note that this passion is not a personality trait - it can be found in both quiet leaders and gregarious leaders.  Our passion is the result of being devoted to and excited about the work God has called us to.

Relevance

Elmira Pentecostal Assembly has found a way to become relevant in our unique community.  Some hear the word 'relevant' and mistakenly think it somehow means that Scripture is being altered.  It is not necessary that tension exist between integrity and relevance.  There is nothing more relevant to a lost world than the saving grace of Jesus Christ.  Our goal is simply to relate the unchanging Gospel to the continually changing culture around us.
